The concept of "Write once use anywhere" in some programming languages.

in a way do you think this concept make developers and programmers alike feel relaxed in their comfort zone and not wanting to push themselves to learn new technologies.

I don't understand how this would be a correct statement. For me (so far) writing cross platform code has been much harder than it has been to write windows only code.

perhaps we should all learn Assembly Languages
