The C compiler is compiled C

Question

The first C compiler had been written in C after its first implementation. Its odd, but it makes sense how after you have a compiler, you can compile a compiler.

It's known as "self-hosting" IIRC, and many compiled languages are such today. It's more logical resource wise.
