How many Lignux users on Solo Learn? GNU/Linux thread.

Question

This thread is to help GNU/Linux user, eg Debian, Fedora, Ubuntu, Manjaro, etc. So list your distro and basic specs.
Mine are:
1) Debian 8.
2) Debian 8 & Others.

This is not a distro comparing contest. It's to get an idea on how many people here are on GNU/Linux and provide the extra support SL doesn't. I'll be pinning an issues post too. No question is dumb if it's on topic.

Python: Default for Debian, Ubuntu, Mint, and family is 2.7 yet SL course is 3. Run "python3 code.py" to remedy. Can be configured in IDEs. You can alao use "/usr/bin/python3" in you shebang.

Linux Mint Serena 18.1 MATE. No problems with Python, Java, C++ etc. Goodbye, Windows. However, some apps still work better on Windows. OCR apps, for example.

I'm using Kubuntu 17.04 it is really nice operation system and perfect & fast.

Great to see there's a Desktop Linux community base. Hopefully SL will remain aware of that in their lessons.
