Someone's Challenge

Question

Yesterday someone posted a question. If you were tasked with writing a program to add 2 numbers without using + or -, how would you do it? I assume they want a bitwise approach, but one of my favorite things about programming is there are lots of ways to tackle any problem. I can't find that post anymore, so I will put this here. It isn't bitwise, but it follows the rules. It doesn't use + or - and if you input 2 numbers it will add them.
