Elie, HTML and C++ are both different.
HTML is a markup language and C++ is a C language.

The closest he can get from C++ is JavaScript, but the conversion from Javascript to C++ bit be too confusing for him and discourage him to continue learning and end up sticking with JavaScript instead.

He wants to learn C++ and I say that he should do so.
