I would recommend javascript over Java. then get into C# and C++.

I would say JavaScript if you are developing games with Unity, but otherwise, Java.

my choice was to begin with java and i have learnt already many things. Im planning to learn c++ later because I think it is better for game programming...java is good for Android programming
