create a website just for display.. try make a copy from scratch of any website that currently exist, just for display without any back end function.

try freecodecamp.com , it's a very good course and will guide you through both front end and back end development. And best of all, it's free! By now you should be able to make display websites, I recommend you try using bootstrap and font awesome to make your website look even better.
