How much C# knowledge is needed to develop a game ?

I am talking mostly about Unity. Is the C# solo learn course sufficient to start using Unity ? any other advice will be appreciated.

If you look around you will find unity games with NO developer programing, as they use the unity engines mechanics alone.
But if you want to add more interest you need more programming knowledge.
I start very very simple and then build up bit by bit, with a lot of searching on the net for solutions to problems I encounter on the way.
I still find it enjoyable :-)
