$Learning from you#Code the way#

I purposely post this thread because I for one have problems implementing some fundamentals in the languages I learn. SoloLearn has done a great job with the coding examples, but I think there are other ways of doing things that you all can share. I invite all the professionals and experts and intermediates, what ever level ur in, if you hv a simple method of demonstrating the coding fundamentals in any language, don't hesitate to post it here. This will really help beginners. code should contain comments

@Ace I practically carry out some of the steps you mensioned and sometimes have a problem coming out with an algorithm for my codes, most of my projects i complete without successfully sketching the right algorithm for the code. the tips you gave are solid, but what do you suggest about the benefits of algorithms, isnt it time consuming???

Sometimes i wonder and hang on so many questions, my team is still growing and we are still trying to group up. We have decided to divide our projects in to specialization that is if its a web project then the web guys handle it, if its a c++ or c# or java projects, the specialised guys handle it, i dont know if its a good practice and how it will affect our efficiencies...

@mubashir dont you think that kills the one man coder tactic, i mean wont that limit you to just what you know, wont that reduce your chances of getting a job?

@Mubashir you have a point there, ill discus that issue of specialization again with them, but we once had a problem were we had a web project and the guy who was a javascript expert was not arround and we couldnt complete the project.

@Ace: Im looking to do an indepth, yet a quick study of data structures and algorithms...Any suggestions as to where I should start? The language of choice would be c/c++. I want to be up to speed on a variety of the most commonly used algorithms within two weeks.
