What's yours take on the new Google web lite implementation?

Google has finally released the web split testing(A/B testing) from beta so anyone can easily optimize his/her site.
at first I felt so sad after viewing a site I knew to be beautiful before, as an ugly pile of blur contents but now I fully understand the real benefit of the new technology.
You can navigate a page in it's lite version about 175% faster than the burdened version of the same site.
When you're on a low internet connection you can easily view any optimized site in it's lite format etc...
