How much time do you need to develop a new blog or a simple site with JavaScript? (Not static)

as already stated by @cheese with rest you probably will need more than 2 hrs but not that much though to code endpoints and tests CRUD. Your site or blog can be up and running in no time with nodejs, express plus MongoDB and a front-end framework like VueJs.

you can not make dynamic blog with js only or you should not; you need php or like server side language to handle database connections. as our friends told if you need a blog you may use wordpress, but if you have to do it bu yourself you need to know js+css+html+php+sql combination . that combination will help all your needs.this will take only a week from scratch for a basic blog.
