java or c++ for Beginners ??

it depends on what you want to do both take time to master for me I don't see any diference people say that c++ is super hard but I don't think so, if you know java, c#, php, and java script will be trivial to learn c++ is a bit more complicated in terms of syntax, try to learn some basics of c++ first so you can get familiar with it, and then go full thruttle with java, java is more easy to understand then c++, you will be discurage to learn c++ in the future if you start with java with no basics on c++, also java will open a lot of doors for you like I said above if you know java understanding other languages like c#, php...etc will be easy

If you want a starting language to learn programming, I would recommend a scripting language like Python or Javascript, for ease of use.

i recommend for your IDE to be Eclipse neon and your language to be java. Any problems with it, theres a book on how to program with java in eclipse its called Murachs programming java with eclipse
