The loading speed of a webpage depends on many factors, apart from the CMS itself. Even if drupal is considered faster, what if - for example - it's being served from a server on the other side of the planet, with an older PHP version, with a bunch of addons on it, no caching whatsoever and some really large images?! A good start would be to dive into the criteria by which google determines page speed: https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/

in terms of rendering then yes it is faster than wordpress due to its default caching features but there are certain drawbacks.. wordpress backend is more user friendly than Drupal and is easy to use. wordpress has such a big open source developer community which releases a lots of useful plugins and themes.. Wordpress gives upgrades within 3-4 months and u don't need to change codes..wordpress does it for you.. bit in Drupal u need to have some coding knowledge to reimplement changes to the code

It's "Drupal" and not "Durpal" ^^ Anyway, both are generic CMS, so doesn't been as efficient as dedicated web pages... and the choice may between them may more occurs depending your purposes and/or your tastes ;) One among google search 'drupal vs wordpress' results: https://www.elegantthemes.com/blog/resources/wordpress-vs-drupal

please don't use WordPress 🙏 it's not secure if you don't know how to make it more resilient to attacks
