Which field has more scope whether a web designer or a software developer?

i am having doubt which is better.....which is a better field to work and earn more

Software developer by a long shot.

To put it into perspective, front/backend web developers in my area make roughly 50-70k a year. Senior Java developer makes 120-140k a year. You get the picture.

With that being said, I know both. Professionally, I focus my time on software development, but web development compliments a lot of stuff that I do, and I find it useful to me PERSONALLY because I don't need a web dev to assist.

You're more than welcome. I updated my post, but SoloLearn took forever to update. lol Hope that helps you. It's nice knowing how to do both, but professionally, much more demand for software developers than web designers.

I can only speak for the area I live in though. It may differ between areas/countries.
