What is the XP system like in SoloLearn?

I gain points but i do not know how exactly. There should be a place where we can see how much xp we earn and why, don't you think?

What is XP?
XP stands for eXperience Points. You earn XP by participating in activities and improving your coding skills. These activities include completing a lesson/course, playing challenges, unlocking badges, and so on.

How are XPs calculated in the Challenges?
The XPs you gain/lose are unique to each match. Calculations take the opponents' levels into account. We use a modified version of the Elo rating system to calculate the points for each won/lost challenge.

I know that XP stands for experience. It's in the tags. I know that you gain them by taking courses and by challenging and that they vary by match. But i realized that there are other ways by which we earn poibts too. I believing unlocking badges does that for one. But i guess there are more. Because i saw rises in my XP which i couldnt account for. I'm trying to understand how
