Which is more complex? Programming or Engineering...?

Question

While reading through some codes that were used to build video players, games etc... I was troubled by the complexity of the codes, it looked like pure jargons. But it reminded me of what Programming is really about --solving complex problems with codes, algorithms and ideas...
Don't ever get discouraged, coding is as much fun as it difficult.... Take it bit by bit, what looks difficult today will become familiar and eventually simple for you!

programming is a broad subset of engg. which incorporates adamant use of maths and analytical logic from engg.

Core Engineering disciplines like Software Engineering and Computer Engineering rests on the versatility of Programming...

There is a course called "Software Engineering" haha. They are both so broad that they can overlap.
