How do you earn XP?

Just finished the PHP course. Earned 283 XP. Some people have 6000 XP in PHP (and even more). How do you do this? :)

Complete courses, do challenges, write codes, earn badges, (general XP) participate in Discuss section and earn Best Answer and upvotes, daily login streak and more. :>
