Broadcasting App

Question

I'm interested in creating a radio broadcasting app that connects solely to my servers, which coding would be best to learn to do that?
I'm currently using the BroadcastMyself app that is connected to a Icecast V2 server.
I want to create an app that members can sign in, book air and stream live all from one spot. Rather than hire someone, I figure I'll make it myself. I just need to know what I should focus on learning so I can.
