What motivates you to program?

am asking this question because I sometimes feel like am not getting anywhere in learning how to program.

You can materialize your own world.
Create games.
Draw algorithmic masterpieces.
Express yourself.
Be praised be normal people.

(huge income)

Programming is a new form of art that combines all other arts/sciences (drawing,music,maths....)

You shouldn't give up...Learn Programming!... Be an Elite!...

Programming makes you think logically, think ahead of time and catch many if not all possible errors. Be it, a hobby or a professional activity, it allows you to make beautiful technological algorithms and software in numerous fields (Financial, Science, Math etc.).... its really wonderful

It brings out d small god in u by continuing the big God's legacy which is creating new things... its one of the few things in d world that allows u to express yourself by creating what u can imagine

if you keep learning programming, you'll be closer to make your own JARVIS :). That's one of my motivations.
