Featuring Profiles on the Home Page - Good or Bad?

It's been long since profiles are featured on the home page. It's a good way to encourage and inspire us for achievements. As of now, only Post/Code of the Day or Unlock a Weapon are being featured on the home page.

I think profiles should also be featured. What is your opinion on this?

There can be plenty of good (and bad) reasons to feature profiles. Judging from the last time I remember profiles being featured (top quiz creators / champions / etc), there should have been no solid reason for profile featuring to be discontinued.

When codes and threads made by a certain someone is featured, that user is indirectly featured already. This means there is no harm in specifically featuring profiles over codes and posts.

That said, the task of prospecting will weigh on the editors. It would be great to listen to community suggestions pertaining profiles and specific reasons for said profiles to be featured.

good idea....
but what i was actually thinking of was that a slider (like in google play store) should be made which would feature the COTD , post of the day , challenger of the day , etc. together for a particular day.....here's my post related to this

Of course but well that's unfair because every one want his/her profile in the home because it can increase popularity , Up votes , and badges .
If yes I want my profile n Home page once a week 😂😂😂
so maybe that's not in home page but we see .😉

I feel that that is actually not that necessary, but we should get rid of the "check your leaderboard" and "unlock new weapon".
We can have an alternating system:
Monday:
COTD (picked by moderators)
Tuesday:
Post of the day (#1 in trending, #2 if it already got mentioned and so on)
Wednesday:
Again COTD
Thursday:
Again POTD.
Etc.. .

challenges are also featured now
