What is the best order to learn programming language for web development?

Question

I start learning programming language for web development with HTML then I start with Java. Is that a good order and what should I begin after Java ?
Please I need your Help very much, I am very confuse about the languages that I should to learn.

i'm starting with html and css and i'm using other websites to learn a bit more indepth. javascript is good to look into for web development after css. then continue and find a backend which you like. after java i would say maybe learn ruby/python (personally i'd go with python at this stage but i'm learning the basics sooner to make syntax easier).

I started coding with html first. Someone mentioned that if i learned javascript & css that i could do way more than what i currently have. I'm learning css now. Good luck

Hi I would have recomended HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP and SQL.

PS do you mean JAVA or Javascript. They are different.
