How to delete some words from a text file

Question

i have a long text file contains for example:
"hello it's me <25786327876> i like you<875433>"
i want to delete whatever between the bracket that come after "it's me" to be like
"hello it's me i like you<875433>"

Read file content, filter it with RegEx, overrite file with new content.... (Google is your friend....)
