once we finish learning html, where should we enter the codes inorder to write the program?

Oh you can download a good text editor like notepad++ or sublime text on your PC. Save your files as .html so that you can view it with your browser

You can use any text editor as an IDE for writing code. The only thing you must do while saving your file, is to change the file extention to ".html".
