How to write a menu drive cpp programm using linked list of n nodes?

I have got a project from school recently....
and I've to write a cpp code on a Menu driven programm to create a linked list of n nodes and perform the following operations....

1.delete and beginning
2.del. and end
3. del. and middle
4.display
5.exit

can anyone help me to do this...??

Steps:

0) Create the basic struct and member functions... (insert, del, modify, etc)
1) In main, input the linked list, and open a switch case, after displaying all options and asking for input.
2) In the switch case, use the functions as per the option entered...
3) Enclose the main's code in a while(true) loop...
