First of all you need to understand Html in order to be able to learn css.You will see that it is not that hard if you take one step at a time.You can divide css between Layout(where each box of content will be) and appearance(how each element looks like) so maybe you want to learn one part then go to the other.(I'm sorry I said something in a weird way,I'm not used to write in English.)
