Movies and video games shows that an ai will be dangerous and the answere for this question will be well given only after an advanced ai is created.
And maybe an ai can be dangerous.

Yes and no. The misconception is that robots, AGI, and general AI will just suddenly go nuts and turn on us. The current problem being tackled in computer science is trying to solidify and make sure Humanity's goals are aligned with our creations. They won't go rogue per say, it's just we want the computer to understand that it should always be open to improvement from its human counterparts. It's a complicated topic really.
Robots don't suddenly just attack humans, most likely if humans get hurt from the robotic era coming soon is because the human tried to stop or prevent the robot from completing it's task. the robot holds no hate or indifference to the human, it's just it's programmed to complete a task and something is preventing or interrupting it.
We're far away from super intelligent AGI, and we can't even comprehend how to create a general AI that is self aware and is capable of comprehending the reality around it.
that all being said. We must be careful ... AI is powerful. the danger isn't necessarily the AI itself, but the human or company that programs it. Elon musk warns us to make safety measures for AI research, and I agree. Rushing the creation of one without understanding it's implications can do much harm in ways we can't foresee. Facebook for example is trying to rush this research without taking into account caution.
As any programmer here knows ... our programs can have unexpected behavior that is impossible to predict.
