But tha I don't suggest you to learn this language as of It's hard and rarely to learn
And absolutely not sure what IT professional is
so I wait for another answer

Yes it is, and I highly doubt you will need it haha. It's hard to give you any kind of advice without knowing precisely what your job consists in. If your friend suggested JS, maybe there's a reason for it? (is your friend doing the same job as you?)
Everything depends on what you want to do.

IT professional is more like a software engineer . Like people who work for Google Facebook or anyother firms like them have employes who are bachelor from computer science engineering

I would suggest Java if you don't already know it, since it is widely used, but if you're a computer science student, you might learn it later at the university. What sometimes happens in universities is that they don't give you any knowledge about web-related languages, so maybe you could work on those (like PHP and JS).
That's what happened at my university at least: they taught me Java and C and C++ and Python but nothing related to web development, although it's quite useful in my opinion.

Yes we do have Java c and c++ in our curriculum
we are told that u need to master any one language that u like by the end of your four year undergraduate program
