I tried to code something like this :
if start() == "TEST" or "Tom" or "tom" or "TOM"
. . . . . . . print("whatever")

But as I tried that I learned that I can't use the or (statement?) like that.

So how can I do what I am trying to do here?

Instead of "or" you should use ||
