using LIKE

Question

LIKE "%boxes"
it gives the names ENDING with "boxes"...
but the question asked was -"to search "boxes" in the "name" column i.e,
eg: "boxessss" should be selected...
but it doesnt select it as "%boxes" will select the names with the last character boxes

For "in the string anywhere", you need the wildcard on both sides:

"%boxes%"
