after setting up the xampp the php file doesnt display anything in the browser.

Question

I had installed the xampp and changed the ports to available ones. Its restarted both modules show in green and running. but when i go to http://localhost/testFile.php in the browser, nothing is displayed. Any ideas?

you have to put your files in "where you installed xampp" \xampp\htcdocs. by defaut, it is in you C:\ drive
