Udacity offers free online courses but have to pay for certificate. I am working on Android Development using Java and XML. The way they explain Objects and Classes in Java is easy to follow and I was quick to grasp the concepts they were explaining. Are you learning Java for the purpose of Android Developement?

@black forest
in books, like textbooks, you read a chapter, then they have exercises that you can then do, in your ide. so your reading and doing. not just reading. it helps to have little small things to do to learn each concepts with... you learn code by doing but you also need so read or listen to what each thing is before doing it
