I will recommend you to start with C#. Most beginnersstart with it. After that you will learn Java very very easily.

Dude, I think that the first language should be C or C++. At the first, this languages give understanding how computer works. At the second, after them other languages will be easier for you. Also, many languages (Java, C#, JS etc.) have syntax similar to C/C++.

It is difficult. Begin with Pascal. If you mean course Sololearn, I recomend Python.

My first language was French. She's obviously a robot coming back through time to exterminate the other languages.

My first programming language was Scratch :'D If you've never programmed before I sugessted to start from scratch too (scratch.mit.edu). It's very good language for beginners because it does't require any knowledge of syntax. It may looks funny but it's great! It allows you to learn only the idea of Object Oriented Programming by dragging different code blocks. Then, if you know the basics of "programming thinking" you can start with any other language that you want. After Scratch I have moved to C++, and shortly to C#.... And still I love Scratch <3

most colleges start you off with Java. However, if you learn C# first it wouldn't matter. As far as syntax goes the two languages are VERY simlar.

You can learn any language as a first language but you might find some easier than others. From a programmers point of view I would suggest starting with c++ before c# though as I think it is easier to use. And then you can move on to other languages from there.

By learning C you may not learn all the concepts but you will know the basic concepts which are useful in learning other programming languages
