Could we get a course on Haxe?

It is a very versatile language and would be amazing to be able to learn.

Hi there is some training coming soon. Andy Li of the Haxe foundation is organising some training. https://haxe.org/blog/haxe-online-training-courses-are-coming Was there something specific you needed help with? If your specifically interested in Mobile then there is a Haxe Fixel book out. http://discover-haxeflixel.com/ It maybe partially out of date but I expect it would give you a good overview if your thinking of using OpenFL and Fixel. If you feeling more adventurous and what lower level power than I recommend hanging out on the Kha irc channel or the SnowKit gitter channel and just giving a go the communities are usually very helpful but there are other good mobile choices ( NME, Heaps+Lime, Flambe ). If your looking for help with haxe web development then I believe Ufront is becoming quite a standard, I think there are some links off to some tutorials and docs. https://github.com/kevinresol/ufront-nodejs-guide If SoloLearn are interested in working with Haxe foundation on providing training I am sure that would be very welcomed, please contact Andy Li, perhaps twitter him. https://twitter.com/andy_li

@Justin front, thanks for the reply! I am having trouble mostly with the command line processes, such as compiling. However the syntax is also strange and like nothing I've ever used before, I have experience with Java, C#, and C++. It seems to have a steep learning curve, but once you get it down it's very easy to just go with it. I am actually more interested in flixel than haxe, but they don't seem to do library tutorials here so I just requested the language.

Yes please! Haxe is the ultimate Swiss army knife for programming. I used it a while ago to create software for astrophotography. The main controller was running in a Neko VM, the web UI used jQuery together with Haxe/JS, and some modules for admin used Haxe/CPP. all from a single codebase and with compatible interfaces and remoting. It is a lovely language, only lacking in documentation. Without Google I would have gotten nowhere
