Is it ok to build a website (online shop) with raw PHP, without any framework (laravel, codeigniter)?

I am trying to build a online shop website for a client. I am using html, css, bootstrap, javascript, jquery as needed. I am not using any framework or MVC pattern. As my website includes payment or credit card information, can raw PHP handle this? I am new in laravel.Not good enough to use it.
