C++ escaping button

Please, guyse help me make escaping button , then I do not understand how to do this

Is your program visual, or command pompt? do you have code made already?

I'm sorry I don't know much about the visual side yet only console right now. but from what I read for C# if it's true is you put:
this.Close();
in the event of the button or,
Application.Exit();
in the event of the button I think the second closes the program and the first closes the form. Not sure the difference I have not started visual yet it's on my list of things to do. hopefully this helped some. if not sorry.
