Sure. Actually, its best to start as young as possible. Learning a programming language is comparable to learning a spoken language. You have grammar rules (syntax) and vocabulary. However, there are less rules and words to learn compared to a spoken language. If schools try to teach you a foreign language, why shouldn't you be able to learn a simpler language used for programming?
