jdk not working

Question

I downloaded the installer and installed the jdk. I installed the jdk and it said that it worked. I set the PATH variable and tried running the javac command in command prompt and it didn't work. Did I do something wrong?

Yeah C++ is one of my favorite languages.(Java, C++,JavaScript, HTML,CSS,SQL). Are you using Netbeans as your Java IDE? or Eclipse?....

i have installed eclipse and netbeans too but primary i using netbeans. its better i think.

i had same problem but i solved it. if you try it many times and you have all set correctly just restart computer and then open only cmd prompt and type javac. just try it. if doesnt work it try look if your PATH is not in program files86x. it must be in classic program files. just download any version of jdk and try again. then it works for me.

yes you must set it to bin. you have it correct. but why you download 110 version? download 111 or 112. its last update.

and when you type to cmd prompt javac is not working?

yes. i started with java then i try c++ and thanks to c++ i understand many things and now i return back to java and all is really simple now for me.
