I want to develop an android application but im confused in selecting IDE

Android Studio has the most features for developing Android apps. Tough, it isn't much easy to install and run (i.e. you need atleast 4gigs of RAM and a better CPU to work on with it). Other ‘not that-better’ alternatives include IntelliJ IDEA and Ecipse for Android. Which ones are you considering? Can't go wrong with Android Studio.

What are you confused about? When in doubt, download both and test out both of them. Through experience you'll realize which you prefer.

Did you properly set up the SDK/virtual device? Google your error. Plenty of resources on that error and how you can resolve for your particular IDE.

I install both of them but I'm getting same error in that tools "cannot run emulator"
