GameMaker Studio (Not a question)

Question

I don't think this game engine gets enough love. If your goal in programming is to make 2D games, don't count this out. Unreal is great. Unity is solid. But for 2D games, GameMaker Studio from Yoyo games is very good and the easiest of the 3.

It has its own built in language called GML, but if you know the basics of any language you won't have much trouble coding your games. Not comfortable coding everything yourself? It has built in drag and drop functions that anyone can handle.
