Starting to code using swing immediately.

I am a beginner. Can I learn using swing immediately to create gui interface without starting from boring "hello world" coding? Because creating non GUI output doesn't make sense. I prefer creating GUI interface.

Yes I understand your excitement. But GUI is more advance than what we use in console program. You are saying I want to solve calculus problem without knowledge of simple math. Think yourself

Yes, if you know basic of programing. Learn swing or awt. But if not you will fill yourself incomplete. I have learn PHP 2 years ago. I thought I know all the things about PHP, but I get surprise almost every week. Php is very vast language as java or any other. You can only think you are 100%. But that not means you can answer all question about that language. Go ahead learn. People learn from experience.

if you have the concepts of oop and data structures , you should switch to swing or awt , if you don't have understanding of console programming you will never become a good programmer. You want to build a building with weak base . is it make sense ?

thanks pal for your response. But don't you think that creating non GUI output in console program is kind of wasting time if our goal is creating android apps. Because GUI has huge differences in coding.
