What’s the best or easiest code to start with for an absolute beginner?

Whatever language you pick, take your time and practice each new part you learn. If you get stuck ask questions.

If you have created code that's not working or you're unsure of anything, you can make your code public and put a link to your code in the Q&A section with what help you need.

It depends what field you interested in, if it is web you dont need Java or c++, start from html css javascript and jQuery, may be php or ruby. If you more interested in more "general" programming, Java c# or Python. I would not recommend to start from c++ since it is not so user friendly and required some serious effort to understand concepts.
