Can anyone say me what is the basic difference in between float and double type

there is also precision aspects
For eg double can take 15 precision decimal points whereas in float it can only take 7 precision decimal points!!

floats are written with f in end
For eg:
float f = 4.5f;
whereas double is written as
For eg:
double f = 4.5;
