one of the best books is "head first java" for beginners. great instruction style and you learn a lot.

i would recommend for the basics , the new boston. those are videos that are not to long. but it will explain you the basics. but my advice to you is. go buy yourself a great book about learning java its the best way to learn.

I recommend "Head First Java". Best book for beginners. or "Effective Java" for Intermediates.
