As for me, the best way is: 1. read the topic (10 minutes) 2. answer questions (5 minutes) 3. practice with the professional (30 minutes)

Everyone's learning method depends on the person. The best way to learn programming is simply practice. You help yourself tutorials (text, video) that you find on the net and the community. At the beginning you learn the basics of a language then you create projects.

Practice. The best way to learn to program is by practicing. For learning how to do some parts of a program, like working with databases or creating a GUI etc. that depends on the person who is learning. Personally I like to read a documentation for what i am looking for or a short video if i can't find the documentation. But as soon as you find how to do something you should practice what you learned

A mixture of both. Not all people learn the same way. The more you can do to acomidate different learning styles the better. I personally use a mixture of resource types to learn. Practical experience without knowledge is confusing, where knowledge without application is pointless.

There is no right or Wrong Way. Different methods work for different students. I suggest you use both.

Yes, all methods are good in their own way, but practice is practice practice :)
