Printing word used in comment

I have a question
In the course of comment the word printing is used repeatedly.

For example-print hello world

So what does this mean

It's just a word used by the code author to explain what that particular part of the code does, in general, "print" in code, unless stated otherwise, means to write something to the standard output device, commonly display monitor on PC/Laptop, or the screen for touch-screen devices, tablet/smartphone etc.
