There is a lot more help and information available to support your learning and development with Java right now so I would recommend starting with that. Kotlin is definitely one to learn as well, but best wait until you're comfortable with Java.

My suggestion is Java as first one. Kotlin looks pretty good for development too. So learn both but Java first.
