Help. Urgently!!

I think its just me finding a difficult time with this CSS styles. I understand the internal styles but I dont seem to get the external styles. Anyone that can be of assistance I will really appreciate.

I'm a little perplexed by the question... there are:
* inline, internal and external styles / style sheets
* element type, class, id and descendent selectors

But as far as I know, internal/external doesn't apply to selectors.
