Dyskusje Q&A
hey guys, I've been trying to work out the formula 'v=I*r'. But whenever I run the program and input values for I and r, it doesn't give the right answer.
This is the code
#include <iostream>
using namespace std;
int main() {
int i,r;
int v = i*r;
cout<<"what is the value of i?\n";
cin>>i;
cout<<"what is the value of r?\n";
cin>>r;
cout<<"voltage ="<<v<<endl;
return 0;
}
p/s: I'm new to programming

using namespace std;
int sum(int a, int b=42) {
int result = a + b;
return (result);
}
int main() {
int x = 24;
int y = 36;
//calling the function with both parameters
int result = sum(x, y);
cout << result << endl;
//calling the function without b
result = sum(x);
cout << result << endl;
return 0;
}
why is da last function cout 66 and not 48 isn't it suppose to add 24+24?

3 odpowiedziwhat will be output??
#include <iostream>
using namespace std;
int main(int a)
{
cout << a << "\n";
return 0;
}
int main(char *a)
{
cout << a << endl;
return 0;
}
int main(int a, int b)
{
cout << a << " " << b;
return 0;
}
int main()
{
main(3);

if output is compilation compilation error then how can we overload "main" function in C++

5 odpowiedziWhile prototyping friend functions in a class is it necessary to always pass the address of the object as parameter?If so why is it that we have to pass address as parameter..In programs involving compositions we never used addresses...Why is the need for address of the objects while using friend?

what have i to do, if i want that the program always writes for example :
0+1
1+2
3+3
6+4
10+5
15+6
...
because now it just writes
1
3
6
10
15
...
and maybe if it works, can i make then
0+1=1
1+2=3
3+3=6
6+4=10
#include <iostream>
using namespace std;
int main(){
int i;
int sum = 0;
for (i = 1; i <= 100; i++){
sum = sum+i;
cout<<sum<<endl;
}
cout<<sum;
return 0;
}

so although using srand(time(0)) can be used to get truly random numbers, how truly random are they? For example, if one were to call this method at the same time (in this example, if one were to use this command at 51s) each time would the numbers generated be the same???
If so, are the numbers still truly random??
And if this theory is true, how can one generate truly random numbers that cannot repeat based on external variables (e.g., time)?
