Need help
I was, and still am, very excited to learn coding. Of all kinds! However, I am having an incredibly difficult time trying to figure out what I should make with the knowledge I have gained. I'm no even particularly sure of what I <i>can</i> do with what I've learned. I can't seem to come across any ideas that really strike me. So I ask you, what can I do with coding? What do I actually need it for? What can I do that could actually serve a purpose? I suppose I am looking for inspiration. Help!

Well, coding today is such a big part of society, our lives would not be the same without it! Because it is such a big part, there is most likely a use for it in whatever you think of! And because it is such a new thing, we are still trying to develop new technology and new languages that fit our needs and can do virtually anything. This is where coders like you come in. Without coders, we would never get anywhere and we would never be able to develop new technology. It doesn t even matter what you're coding; whether a video game, website, or a database, you are always helping to grow the technology.
With what you should make, just try messing around with what you know. You don't even have to have a specific goal in mind, just code whatever you can. Once you start, you may find something that you find looks cool or seems familiar, and you should try to expand on that idea and try to make that into something. I'm sure that once you find something that you like, you'll have more fun with it and you'll completely forget about your worries. Once again, it really doesn't need to have a specific purpose. As long as it does something, then it technically is a code.
I hope this helped and happy coding! d:

Make a webpage for your family member or make one for your dog.

Use the Google Chrome developer console to mess around with websites and see if you can alter them. Reading code and being able to understand it is a big one.
That will be a great indicator to check your learning. Check out open source projects. Try GitHub. Just a couple ideas. Good luck and have fun.

You can try doing what you are best at. Try learning from youtube or other sites. If you like games you can try making one or try to make something useful for users.
