Does anyone have helpful tips for converting C into Java? I'm trying to take an old video game code and revamp it. :-)

cool project. how big is the initial code? do you plan to convert it manually or do you need to write/ use a translator?

about 3MIL maybe not too sure cause we are switching client to client and server to server types which has less bugs cause most have these bugs the conversion to Java would be better I think to move forward into hadoop db and from there build an app around a highly redundant infrastructure and high scalable but again getting snagged up in the conversion if you know any tricks for scp and mul files that would help lol

@Kevin Murray I don't have experience of large scale translation so can't help much.... though would be curious to know what tools and technique you will end up using!
What sort of project is that, some sort of game?
